Example

A static site, optimized for the edge.

An authorized static site captured, localized, image-optimized, and deployed behind a CDN as fully portable content.

Captured

Five pages with every asset pulled local and references rewritten so the copy works offline -- no dependency on the original host.

Optimized

WebP and AVIF conversion plus lazy loading below the first images cut page weight by more than half.

Deployed

Published to a CDN as plain static content with no build step, serving from the edge with local assets alongside the HTML.

Measured on this capture, in kilobytes. The drop is image format conversion and nothing else — no markup was removed, and the pages render the same.

Honest limits

  • Analytics scripts remain third-party unless removed
  • Server-side behavior is out of scope for a static capture
  • Cache headers are deliberately not `immutable`: captured assets are not content-hashed, so a redeploy has to be able to purge them
